A beautiful day
The beauty blog that Hillary Johnson and I created and co-edit is today’s Typepad featured blog. I had no idea until someone mentioned it in email to me (thanks, Alison!). That shows you how often we check our traffic and referrer stats (read: never).
What’s funny to me is that I submitted our blog to the Typepad team back in 2005 when we started it. Only after being praised by the likes of Vogue, Allure, the New York Times, Women’s Wear Daily, all the British newspapers’ style magazines and many other publications were we deemed worthy enough of Typepad’s recognition. Guess we finally made it, Hill!
Speaking of the platinum one, it was great spending the day with her. We had meatballs for breakfast, did a bunch of fun stuff, got some work done, and then ate nothing for dinner but gigantic, bloody rib-eyes. We really are terribly fortunate.
