For reasons I should not need to explain to my clever readers, very few people want to give their money to political parties in this country. Now Labour is pushing to steal more of what will not be given freely, solely to line their party coffers, claiming that they deserve it. Why? Because! “Because!” (or, more accurately, “Cuz!”) was my favourite non-answer, as a five-year-old, to my parents when they challenged why I was doing something I should not have been. That the ruling party of British government can come up with no better reason to steal more of our money to run their propaganda machine is not entirely surprising.

And people wonder why I insist that the state is not our friend…
