Since I was mugged, not having a reliable camera on me at all times has been a huge pain. I’ve carried our crapped out old Canon with me, just in case, but I rarely used it (I only took a handful of photos while I was in LA and New York, and they were all jacked - this is one of the better ones, which isn’t saying a whole lot.).

So on my way to meet Franziska for lunch in New York yesterday, I stopped in Best Buy and, within two minutes of stepping into the shop, bought a Nikon Coolpix S9. Clotilde uses one, and I’ve always liked the look of her photos. So far, I’m enjoying playing with it, and it’s going to be such a huge relief to have a proper camera with me once again. What would Flickr do without my pointless pictures?
