I’m talking about politicians and the media. I could barely watch this whole “news” report, it made me so angry:

Why is this city spending taxpayer money on these crackdowns? Coming out in favor of sense and reason in this case would not be a vote winner for any politician, so you’re not likely to hear any of them pointing out that it is the police who are acting immorally and offensively. Then you have the media going along with the ludicrous idea that it is anybody’s business what goes on in those apartments and hotel rooms.

When people talk about Cincinnati being “conservative,” it’s usually self-professed “liberals” who advocate this sort of nonsense without hesitation. There are actually very few true liberals in this town.
