Bank holiday weather

I know I sort of asked for it, but if I really had that kind of power, I would have asked for something way better.

ANTOINE: I don’t suppose you want to go for a walk in this, do you?
ME: Uh, no.
ANTOINE: I might go out just to see if there’s any flooding.
ME: Enjoy! I’m still patting myself on the back for not wussing out and insisting on a cab when we had to go to Fulham yesterday.

(I did fug out and wear a practical Maharishi rain jacket - very similar to this one - though. There’s nothing like inclement weather to force me into clothes bought months ago and never once worn.)
