Bank of America
I have been anti-Bank of America ever since I read Rob’s first online account of what jerks they were to him, which is years ago now, and warned lots of people away from opening up accounts there as a result. Over the years, I’ve collected lots of horrific stories of how terribly BoA treats customers. So I was thrilled to learn that Rob has finally broken up with Bank of America. One of his commenters says:
I have a mortgage through Bank of America and I always have this very odd feeling that someone is going to scream “Punk’d!!!” whenever I do business with them.
A ringing endorsement if I’ve ever heard one!
(Ten days to clear an out of state check? For all their faults, Fifth Third makes such funds available to me so quickly I have never noticed a delay.)
