Crossing the Ohio River

I took this with my BlackBerry while walking to Covington, Kentucky this evening to spend time with some friends. That’s Paul Brown Stadium at right, on the north bank of the Ohio River. But what I’m interested in is that my BlackBerry registers the sun as a big black dot. (I’m sure there’s some smartypants scientific explanation for this, but it’s new to me.)

This was the most beautiful, wonderful Monday I have experienced in a very long time.
