What I like about this picture is that it could just as easily have been taken 100 years ago. (Well, “just as easily” as in both of those places were already there, not “just as easily” as in they had digital photography.)
At left, St. Peter-in-Chains Catholic Cathedral; at right, the heart of darkness, Cincinnati City Hall. The photo on City Hall’s Wikipedia page bears a resemblance to this one, in fact. And St. Peter’s always reminds me so very much of St. Martin-in-the-Fields (Anglican church) in London.
