Cincinnati Salon

Salon as in idea-driven gathering, not as in getting our hair did. Read more about the new Cincinnati Salon here. Our first salon happens one week from today, downtown, and the speaker will be someone visiting from London whose name I may have mentioned on this blog a time or two million. His topic, inspired by current development plans for Cincinnati, will be What works in public transportation.

Thanks to Brian Micklethwait and Christian Michel for the spark. I miss those London evenings and the talks that brought me some of the most exciting ideas and greatest friends I have ever had. Here’s hoping we can create something similar here in Cincy.

    Sounds wonderful. Where can I find details? I too lived in NY and greatly miss NOT having to drive. As much as I hated coming back here, (dare I say), I’m starting to see some progress. Slowly but surely Cincinnati can become quite an amazing town.
