Cincinnati Supper Club

I was very sorry to miss the seventh (!) gathering of the Cincinnati Supper Club last Friday night. What I did not expect was that I would feel excited about it happening without me. As I moved around New York, I kept looking at the clock on my cell phone and thinking, “Ooh, people will be arriving now!” and “I hope Blake and Bob are taking a lot of pictures!”

I am so thrilled to know that people enjoy it so much, and that it has attracted such an entirely delightful, smart group of people. It’s a very small thing, but one of my favorite things I’ve ever started. And to think how afraid I was to do so! That’ll learn me…
