Cooking for a crowd

Tonight was the Cincinnati Supper Club at our friend Duncan’s house. I did the cooking, he provided the place to party.

I was really not in the mood for this when I woke up this morning, but ended up having a wonderful time. The people who are attracted to the supper club are such a lovely, interesting, curious bunch that it’s impossible not to have one’s mood lifted just by being around them. (Tonight we had guests from Zimbabwe, Costa Rica, Texas, and…Youngstown! Plus two of us who used to live in the UK.) I swear, starting this monthly tradition is one of the best things I’ve done, and I had no idea it would be so fruitful. Lucky me. (Apologies for my super-shrill voice on the video.)
