According to the email I got in response to that post, I guess you’re not supposed to joke about chicken broth. Ever. This website is now on the Official Shit List of the Organic Free Range Chicken Broth People.
Dooce gets the most retarded, funny hate mail. I wish she wouldn’t feel compelled to explain her humour, though. Let the idiots drive themselves crazy trying to figure it out, lady.
That is hilarious. One of the things I’ve been observing about American culture in recent years is that both the Far Right and the Far Left have turned two the two great sensual pleasures of human life - sex and food - into, God help me, “political issues” that define fundamental extremism at its worst.
Now mind you, I don’t want to say that I’ve *never* met a Christian evangelical or vegan who hasn’t had their funny bone extracted at the moment of their Conversion to the Light, but . . . yeah, about 90% of both factions are judgmental, humorless twits.
