Doves

These are another two records I was slightly obsessed with a few years ago and almost forgot until recently. (I actually got to see Doves play live at the last match Manchester City played at Maine Road in 2003…seems like a lifetime ago.)

    Hey Jackie it was a liftime ago - still great tunes though and a great band. My favourite track is Words, especially the re-recorded version “Live For City”.

    Incidentally, City, started the new Premiership season today with 8 new players, new management (SVEN) and new ownership - and won 2-0 away at West Ham.

    The longest running soap opera / roller coaster in football is on the way up.
