Family resemblance

I have been told by quite a few people (family members and otherwise) that I look a lot like my grandmother. I’ve also been told that this shared resemblance extends to my late aunt, too. I really, really want to see this but just can’t right now. It’s quite frustrating. I miss my grandmother very much - she died in 1996 - and it would be so comforting to feel more connected to her in some way.

I also look like my grandma, a fact I didn’t realize until recently. (Or else I didn’t start to resemble her until I was about 32…..) I was looking through some old photos at her place and found one that, at first, I could have sworn was me - except for the fact that it had been taken sixty years ago!
It was kind of gratifying to discover that, since I really don’t look much like either of my parents, and I was starting to wonder…..
