One of the best things about my work life is that I get to do cool stuff with my friends. So it is with the video widget that my buddy Jeff Nolan at Newsgator helped Qik to cook up for the Democratic National Convention. We’ve got more than a dozen Qik users on the ground in Denver, shooting footage from behind the scenes and the convention floor, and the widget we’ve put together lets bloggers serve up those latest videos right in their sidebar or posts. It’s very cool stuff for those who (unlike me) are inclined to be enthusiastic about politics. Huge thanks to Jeff, Walker, Laura, and the rest of the Newsgator team for all their help!
