Bob has supplied you with photos from this afternoon (when, amazingly, we weren’t joined at the hip). I’m supplying you with photos from tonight (ditto). It was like a modern day Rockwell scene, really: Lots of people, everybody cheerful without being annoyingly so. I was cheerful, too, since I only stuck around long enough to take photos.

I also got a couple of shots of my beloved Piatt Park, the sight of which makes me happy several times a day. It’s hugely underrated, and more enjoyable in the winter when there are fewer drunks hanging out, begging for money.
