A comment from Craig Battle on an oldish post on Glenda’s blog about race:
As a smart person, I agree. As a Black person I. . . disagree? I was kickin’ it with this dude once about cars and I bought up my love of a fine German engineered automobile. He said, I’m jewish and i don’t support anything German. I had never thought about that way, but I told him, you gotta let some things go. ‘Cause if I used his logic, as a black person, it just wouldn’t work. I’d be buck naked in the dessert someplace.
Man, being buck naked in the dessert sounds pretty wild. What dessert, though? I vote for trifle or chocolate cake. (I feel the need to apologise for being in such an unusually silly mood, but that comment cracked me up.)

I was all in a tizzy about race, I didn’t spellcheck, my bad. I’m glad I didn’t cause I must admit, . . I almost cracked up my damn self! I’m usually in too much of a rush to spellcheck. I guess thats why my first blog entry is about ‘lunching’ my blog; not ‘launching’.
Craig, I love your style. Promise me you’ll never use spellcheck!
