Coming to London was the best thing I could have done. I’m totally relaxed, catching up on sleep, eating AMAZING food, exchanging presents, seeing friends, kicking ass at Scrabble, etc.
I’m also avoiding my stupid Mac, which is making me very cross when I bother to turn it on. (Firefox stopped working on it months ago; I kept telling myself I’d sort it later. Later is now here and it hasn’t magically fixed itself, much to my annoyance. Also, Seesmic won’t load in Safari, which is a pain in the backside for a million other reasons. I can’t believe this, but I’m actually contemplating installing Internet Explorer on my Apple. It’s THAT BAD.)
I will be back online tomorrow, but only because I have a video conference and to transfer hundreds of photos from my camera onto Flickr. If you need to reach me urgently, send a text to my UK mobile.

Have you tried re-installing OSX on it? I’m not a Mac user, but that seems like an option to at least determine if it’s a hardware or software problem (also maybe, changing the mouse).
