We’re flying out (fog and Delta Airlines willing) to Ohio early tomorrow morning, to spend the holidays with my family. Antoine will be flying home on Boxing Day, then meeting me in New York for New Year’s Eve. I’ll be home January 9.

I’m going to be offline almost the whole time, and apart from all of the advance work I have to do tonight in order to make disconnectivity feasible, I am really looking forward to it. In addition to spending some much-needed time with my brothers and father, I’ll also be helping my oldest, best friend do things for her upcoming wedding.

This has been a fantastic year for me, and I’m thankful for all of the hard parts, too. I’ve learnt a lot, been to new and wonderful places, and done it all with the support of someone unceasingly fun and solid. If 2007 is half as rewarding and instructive, my lucky streak will remain unbroken.
