Letting go of outcomes

Hillary Clinton either has no shame or is delusional

March 8th, 2008 by Jackie Danicki

I think it’s both: She believes her BS but also has no qualms about doing whatever it takes to attain power. THIS is the main reason why I cannot stand her. How many of her supporters buy the load of crap she’s pushing about how she “helped bring peace to Northern Ireland,” in the face of all players confirming that it’s a big fat lie? Either you believe her, in which case you’re gullible and have no use for evidence, or you don’t but support a liar. Which one is it?

Not to put too fine a point on it, but it seems to me that Hillary Clinton and her campaign have decided to take to heart the dictum that Orwell wrote of in 1984:

“To tell deliberate lies while genuinely believing in them, to forget any fact that has become inconvenient, and then when it becomes necessary again, to draw it back from oblivion for just so long as it is needed.”

And I’m being nice. I could have quoted Hitler and Goebbels instead:

Now watch as the Clinton campaign tries to get me to apologize for comparing her to Hitler!

    Hitler won his election…

Somewhere, Mark Penn is thinking, “What else can we learn from Hitler’s campaign?”
