VP of Marketing & Communications for Rackup, but nothing here reflects what my employer or colleagues think. In fact, they probably think it's all cray-cray.
But do you notice how they’re not really crying? How they’d like to cry? How they envy the girl who seems to have actual tears? And all this, all this, all this wanting springs it, sort of; it’s such an odd, common little game of one-up.
The Red Kettle: Awesome–Salvation Army is such a fine organization. I carry cash to give in kettles on the street (encourages pple behind to follow).
As usual, you bring up good stuff for discussion. Agree with Florian Seroussi — watching girls out of control over idol not so awesome. I’ve seen some Disney Channel show for kids that show them always jumping up and down, screaming etc. What is that about? I’ve so enjoyed the example the Michelle & Barack Obama set. They have such warm, loving fun together. Love the steadiness of it. Can’t imagine them jumping up and down screaming for joy or over-reacting to sorrow. Doesn’t feel good.
I’m one of three sisters and I have six nieces, and if any of us had screamed and carried on like that for any reason less traumatic than a major injury, we would have probably been sent straight to boarding school. Kids like that are a highly effective contraceptive!
Amazing. My sons never cried like that, not even after breaking various limbs. (Can you tell I’m not a fan of Idol?)
SCARY AND SAD!!!
Jeeez I have 5 girls :( I’d better not see them going hysterical because of some pop show!!
Brings back memories of growing up with three younger sisters, everything was life and death.
Florian, unless you know something I don’t, you only have four daughters!
@jackiedanicki surprise surprise…we shall soon know :)
What do you know, my boyfriend’s doppleganger won!
