I am working so hard
No, really, I sort of am. But the graft is interspersed with moments of pure silliness and fun, such as the one below. It’s me, the very witty Bebo co-founder Michael Birch, the delightfully mad, gorgeous Michelle Acton Bond and devilishly handsome WAYN co-founder Peter Ward in cab from Slide to the Mashable party at Mighty, singing a really dodgy version of George Michael’s Father Figure. (NB As Michael just sold his company to AOL for $850 million, none of us felt bad about letting him pay for the cab. In retrospect, that may have been a wee bit mean.)
Also, have I mentioned how much I’m loving being surrounded by Brits this week? It really is doing me a world of good. (Quote of the week from Robert Loch: “You are only funny if Brits are around, because Americans just can’t get you. You are British, darling.” Heh.)
