I got a name (and a new mp3 player)
I lost my mp3 player a few weeks ago, which just forced me into the upgrade I’d been pondering for months. I quite liked the iriver that I had, so I went with iriver again - an iriver H10, to be precise. (I got mine from Amazon within a day of ordering it, so can only imagine that the current 1-2 week estimated delivery time indicates decreased supplies.)
It took me ages (read: several days) to get around to setting the thing up, but now that I have, I’m really impressed. It seems impossible that I will ever fill it up with 20GB worth of music and podcasts, but I know I can prove myself wrong better than anyone. So far, it’s just got me back in the habit of listening to Jim Croce’s I Got a Name sixty times a day. If there’s a more perfect record than that, please let me know about it.

I’ve had an iRiver iFP-899 for about a year, and it’s fantastic. Great for listening to podcasts and also recording audio when I’m out and about.
Disappointingly, though, I think that iRivers with recording capabilities are no longer being sold. Such a shame!
