I’d like to make it home for Christmas

It’s not looking good. (We’re flying Delta, and flying out of Gatwick, but I don’t think that will help us much.)

You might be alright, heathrow has trouble keeping planes on the ground out of each others way at the best of times due to the layout of the airfield. Gatwick is better designed for ground movements and the planes can take off and land in virtually

Well, I have made it home for Christmas. (It is summer here, too. Yay). Leaving a few days earlier and having a stopover in Korea looks to have been a good move.
I know the feeling, I would like to make it home for Christmas too! We are flying out of Heathrow with British Airways of all airlines! Have a wonderful Christmas, Jackie and Antoine and a truly fabulous 2007!
Oh, Franziska, good luck! You and John have a lovely, relaxing time (once you’re through the BA nightmare). Must get together more in 2007!
