Incommunicado
I just want to apologise to everyone who has sent me really helpful, supportive, kind emails lately, emails that have meant a lot to me and given me much food for thought, because I haven’t written back to many of you (JH, AB, TT, and others). It’s not a snub. I have a lot of work to do before I leave for New York on Saturday, and - to be bluntly honest - have been feeling overwhelmed and troubled by recent events. I was up and ill all night last night, but instead of writing everyone back, I did online Christmas shopping and bathed in the warm glow of Travaux Manuel (now with new look). I’m a bad person.
Some emails, especially the ones I have received which have meant the most to me, would simply drain me to answer in the manner they deserve. So, I haven’t answered. You don’t deserve this either. I’m sorry; just know that your messages and care have been anything but insignificant to me.
