After gawking at the Pope and wishing my grandmother had lived to see Rome, we got rained on a LOT on our way to dinner. The place Adriana recommended was shut, but just around the corner we had a very satisfying Italian seafood feast.
Four courses, three Bellinis, and two limoncellos later, we were full and the maitre’d was hugging me and touching my ass. I’ve had worse New Year’s Eves.
