I really like my Eee. I got the $300 bare-bones model, and it does everything I need it to do. The bigger screen and hard drive on this one are nice, though.
Thanks, MJ. I feel like I can master this keyboard, as the iPhone keyboard (and the BlackBerry Pearl keyboard for that matter) seemed impossible at first, but now I’m pretty good with that.
The keyboard works, but is a bit like a rackety plastic child’s toy, and I got very tired of stacatto typing HARD with fingertips to make sure that the key was actually pressed enough to trigger the number or letter. Works for short things like short emails and naming files, but not so much for writing a doc. But the guts are great.

Get a wireless mouse and normal, usable keyboard and you’ll be all set (the “EEPie” keyboard sux big time, but you get what you pay for.
