We’re sitting in The Four-Faced Liar in Greenwich Village, drinking some nice lager and flopping in the candelight and comfy booths. (I’m also getting some work done, but it doesn’t feel like work in this environment.) They’ve been playing lots of Willie Nelson and Buena Vista Social Club, and just now blared the official rock song of the great state of Ohio (Hang on Sloopy). There are two dogs lounging around the place, one of which has a red bandana tied around his neck.

It’s a shame we have to go back to Ohio in a few hours. I could stay here all night.
