While Stein’s “I don’t support the war in Iraq, so I don’t support the troops” argument may be worth discussing, the transcript of Joel Stein’s interview with Hugh Hewitt removes all doubt that this guy is a class A weenie. When I started reading it, I actually thought this was some right-wing blogger’s over-the-top spoof transcript, trying to make a ham-fisted point about how stupid Joel Stein is. But no, it’s the real thing. (The audio of the interview is here.)

I know what it’s like to have people on your side who you really wish weren’t, but dayum. Does the anti-war contingent really deserve to be so publicly saddled with both Michael Moore and Joel Stein?

…Yeah, I think so, too.
