My Digital Rebel loves me, but I do not love him back

(Waiting) on the F train

I lug no fewer than three cameras around with me, but usually ignore my Canon SLR in favor of the lighter, more inconspicuous Nikon point-and-shoot. Thing is, I HATE my Nikon, and my Canon never does anything but give, give, give. I’m just so lazy and afraid of being gawked at that I’d rather use the Nikon.
Anyway. I whipped out the Canon for a trip to Park Slope on Sunday afternoon, and got some shots I sort of like. Bonus: I finally got to meet Blip.tv co-founder Charles Hope (wish he’d blog more often), whose thinking I have admired from afar for a while now, and about whom I had heard many good things from Adriana. (Note to self: Check out the work of internet food show star Grace Piper, who was a lot of fun at brunch and eager to share her deep fried oysters.)
