My favorite new Cincinnati blog

Kelly’s got a voice that just hooked me, and she’s even making me dread my running routine a little less. She’s much more engaging than many of the local newspaper columnists whose pieces I’ve read, which almost sounds like damning with faint praise, but I mean it: Put her in a paper with Joe and a few other local bloggers and you have a newspaper I’d actually suffer inky fingers to read.

I’ve been hooked on your blog for a few weeks now (ever since I read the Joe Wessels column) - I just love reading your thoughts on Cincinnati. It’s like I’m discovering the city all over again through your photos and perspectives.
And I actually do work for a local paper - just not as a writer. :)
Kelly, Cin Weekly is missing out by not having you as a writer. (I’m guessing you’re a copy editor.)
NBS, just so you know, you’re one of the other bloggers I’d like to see writing for that paper. I was even grilling people at my dinner the other night, asking them if they read you. Kelly has a lot of things going for her, but she doesn’t have a dog who leaks blood and other ‘fluid’ all over the house, now does she?
If she doesn’t have a leaky dog, I’d be happy to loan her mine for a little while. Like say, until he stops leaking.
I can see what you mean about her writing. She’s good! And thanks for the nice words about NBS. I can say you have inspired me to post more about Cincinnati.
Kelly is indeed a fabulous blogger - and a brilliant copy editor, and really she excels at most things that involve words.
