National Slavery Museum

Bill Cosby would like every American to donate $8 - a modest sum by any measure - to build the National Slavery Museum in the midst of Civil War battlefields in Fredericksburg. I would like you, if you are American (or not American but so inclined), to donate $8 for yourself, and maybe a few more multiples of $8 on behalf of some of those who don’t have the means to do so. You can do it online, via PayPal, and although I’m wary of the project being hijacked by collectivists, I still think it’s an honourable aim. However slippery our current grasp on freedom may be, it was frightfully recently that the state denied any semblance of liberty to entire populations, and it would be a crime ever to let that fact go un-repeated.

  1. Good lord - if he pulled it off, $8 per person would raise $2.4 billion.

Personally, I’d rather the money went towards fighting slavery today.
