New York Times admits that free markets work best

Thanks to Jeff Nolan for doing the unpleasant work of reading the Times so I don’t have to. I’m stunned to see the editors allow a journalist to state this basic truth:
It appears, however, that not even an unchallenged autocrat can repeal the laws of supply and demand.
Like Jeff, I have to wonder if the Times will remember this the next time they write about massive taxes on profits or price controls on pharmaceuticals, or government-managed healthcare, or so-called ‘fair’ trade, or about a million other issues where they always get it wrong.
