Saturday, December 8 from noon until 2PM, local artist Sarah Jane Bellamy will be on hand at Nicholas Gallery to inspire and assist adults and kids in creating their own Christmas tree ornaments. This is a free event, and Nick will be providing mixed media art supplies, refreshments, and holiday music, as well as artists who will be helping parents and kids to come up with their individual masterpieces (which everyone gets to take home with them). I don’t have kids, but I might show up anyway.

The next Saturday, from 7PM - 10PM, Nick will be hosting a “Girls Do It Better” party in his gallery. He’ll have martinis, fresh fruit, a chocolate fountain, and a massage therapist to attend to everyone. (Yes, this event is also free.) Local artists who make jewelry will be displaying their wares, too. I bought a beautiful bracelet from one such artist at Nicholas Gallery, for a mere $22, so can vouch for the quality and value of these one-of-a-kind items.

In addition to getting to have all this fun while surrounded by incredible works of art, you also get to be close to this gorgeous guy. Let’s not kid ourselves, Nick’s the main attraction. But all the activities, food, and massages sound good, too.
