Having so many writers for friends, I tend to feel comforted by reading their work when I haven’t seen them for a while. But somehow, whenever I read one of Nancy Rommelmann’s pieces, it just makes me miss her more. Her voice - sure and solid, tossing off deft phrases at every turn - is exactly the same in person and in print.
