On tolerance
Posted on January 26th, 2009 by Jackie Danicki
The whole point of tolerance is to tolerate things you find repugnant. Tolerance does not mean acceptance however, so just because you tolerate something ignorant or repugnant, that does not mean you need to refrain from heartfelt criticism of it. However tolerance needs to be conditional: tolerance of intolerance is irrational when the aim of that intolerance is to deny tolerance to you.

They covered this on South Park :-). The museum of tolerance episode, I believe.
I don’t watch South Park, but people made me watch so they could watch me get annoyed.
Am I supposed to be tolerant?
I thought tolerance was for everyone else.
