Thanks to Bob and Erin Marie for bringing me as their plus-one to the Towne Properties residents’ party last night. I was fully prepared for it to be lame, but there were lots of interesting and friendly people there…and really good, free food (the best kind!).
On the New to Cincinnati tip, I met a handful of newcomers to town, too. A couple of them just moved here from Texas and are hating what they call the “cold” weather. Now I’m as big a weather wimp as they come - grew up on Lake Erie, but you wouldn’t know it for all the whinging I do when the mercury gets below 65 degrees - but even I know that the worst is yet to come. This is still shorts and tanktop weather for some people.
