Rishi (aka the guy who makes my work life a million times easier than it otherwise would be) and I grabbed a quick lunch at La Tartine today, and I was surprised to see escargots on the menu - $11 for a half dozen. Seemed like a steal when I converted it to sterling, but just about right for the Bay Area. So I ordered some, and shared them out with some of our colleagues who dropped in soon after we got there. Rishi made the mistake of saying he’d never had escargots, and there was only ever going to be one outcome of THAT.
