With all the talk of Britain’s “knife culture” that’s annoying me these days (what next, “fork culture”? I won’t be surprised.), I was very glad to come across this apt definition of gun control:

Gun Control: The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her panty hose, is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to police how her attacker got that fatal bullet wound.
