Shudder

This sort of freak accident is one of my most irrational fears (I even hate walking between parked cars) and it happened at an intersection I used to walk through at least once a day for a couple of years. How horrific.

    It’s one of my irrational fears too; except that it actually happened to me. I was sitting at my desk at work minding my own business when an elderly woman trying to park confused the gas and brake and plowed into my office, sideswiping my desk.

    And while the car was busy demolishing my office, I found myself thinking, “Oh, come ON!” I mean, that doesn’t really happen!
