We’ve been really fortunate with the weather in New York this week. I was expecting the worst sort of humidity, the kind that is all too well known to those who are dumb enough to go to New York and Paris in the summer (that would be me). But it’s been mild, breezy, and not insufferable in the slightest. (At the same time, it’s been unusually humid back “home”in the Bay Area this week. It’s like a couple of months ago when I missed the earthquake in Ohio because I was in San Francisco. Inexplicable but okay by me.)

I had some time between commitments on Saturday to sit on a bench and do nothing. It totally rocked. So did Energy Kitchen, where I’d picked up dinner. It’s healthy fast food, utterly delicious and with all nutritional information posted in very clear, concise terms. I highly recommend the grilled Norwegian salmon, mashed sweet potatoes and Protein Power Punch smoothie.
