Something to bear in mind

Dave Winer had this to say on Twitter last night, and I’m on the same exact page:

I absolutely do NOT live my life transparently. i have a private life that has no web interface.

people who say they live transparently either are lying (I hope) or have absolutely no life to speak of.

I’d say about 20% of my life has a web interface. The rest is off-limits.

    I’d say that more than 20% of my life is online - but much if it is online in a non-transparent way. Privacy controls in Fickr, Vox etc make it possible to be online without being totally transparent - and I like that.
