Speaking gig: CJU
Posted on July 5th, 2006 by Jackie Danicki
I’m going to be speaking at ValueClick’s much-ballyhooed Commission Junction University, an event for CJ’s top tier advertisers and publishers, next week. The keynoter will be Dragons’ Den biz critic and serial entrepreneur Doug Richards, and Richard Duvall (founder of online bank Egg, now of Zopa) will also be speaking. I’ll be touching on commercial uses of blogs and RSS, and having completed my slides tonight (one week prior to the event, which is surely a record for me), I’m already quite excited about the day. Will blog it, no doubt.

Despite that, I had planned to do a bit of pre-trip scouring of the web for a list of interesting places that we might not know about, just for fun. I am speaking at CJU on Wednesday and am pretty occupied with various meetings and other work, though, and probably won’t get the chance. So if you have any must-see Paris recommendations, please share them! (Any tips on more healthful eating in Paris would also be welcome; unfortunately, they don’t seem to make wholemeal croissants.) Big thanks also to Susan Kingston for introducing me to Alison, Tina, Gary Goodman, Carl White, Steve Winterhalter, Ben Kopetti, and other enthusiastic, clever people from the ValueClick group of companies.
