If people can only learn one thing from Adriana’s piece in NMA this week, I hope it is this:

In more situations than 99% of the human population can currently conceive, it is entirely possible for the demand side to supply itself.

My dream is to accomplish things that will help the demand side to supply itself across a whole range of human needs: education, healthcare, security (financial and otherwise), the arts, infrastructure, and beyond.

My fear is that the interference of government, which prevents the demand side from supplying itself - effectively or at all - in so many situations, will make this impossible.

(Against all odds, I think I just gained an extra iota of hatred for socialism and communism.)
