I love this! Anyone who wishes to share one, two, or more of their items with me is more than welcome to do so. Blog it, leave it in a comment, email it to me - whatever. Thanks!
(Clears throat); Well…
1. You feel regret over what you didn’t attempt far more than you feel disappointment over what you didn’t bring off.
2. At the end of your life, it isn’t your career or finances or “success” you mull over; it’s how it went with partners/spouses, children and parents/friends.
3. What you feel is only a minor part of the pain when, on top of it, you think there’s something wrong with yourself for feeling it, when you believe that a proper or appropriate person wouldn’t feel it in the same circumstances.
4. Everyone on the planet has a dirty mind and everyone suspects it might just be them.
Oh, and after watching “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” I could never hear the phrase “throw your heart over the bar..” without feeling just a little nauseous.
Find the good - and praise it.
Have this nugget tacked-up all by itself where I can view it daily. Unfortunately my tendency is *not* to do this so I need the reminder.
I enjoy your blog and you finding and sharing the good from all over Cincinnati.
