Today Snood, tomorrow Tetris?

I used to have an addiction to Snood. I’d only let myself play for a little bit every day, but I did play every blessed day. I went cold turkey in 2004, but often thought fondly of the little blue guy.

As I’m not feeling too brilliant right now, I thought I’d revisit my evil, Puzzle Bobble-reminiscent friend. This time, I actually shelled out for a registered version. I’m sure I’ve had much more than $19.99 worth of enjoyment from the free demo over the years, and I consider this an investment: So many of the really clever, accomplished people I know make it a habit to take fifteen minutes each day to clear their heads with a distracting game. For most, it’s Solitaire, which I have never bothered and do not care to learn. For me, it’ll be Snood. Surely the highest achievements of my young life are yet to come.

(Buying a registered version gives you a $5 discount on Snood gear, and I almost ended up with a Snood University t-shirt for $4.99, but they don’t ship to the UK. Probably for the best, really.)

NB Is it a coincidence that, until I added it thirty seconds ago, there was no Fun subcategory under the Life category?
