Two things about fireworks

1) Context and comfort are everything (I watched NYC’s fireworks from my bedroom).

2) Cincinnati’s Labor Day spectacular is a lot better than what New York does for Independence Day.

Okay, everything can go back to being open for business again.

    It always amuses me when folks who’ve spent time in NY come to Cincinnati and are exposed to Labor Day for the first time. “Oh come on,” they say. “This is Cincinnati.”

    Then you take them down to Sawyer point, let them watch, and they are– nearly literally– blown away. It’s very satisfying. :)
