…Preparing for this rather fun party last night, which I threw at Samizdata HQ in honour of Ben Casnocha’s arrival in London. Massive thanks to Antoine’s mother for all her help with the food, to Perry for the venue, and to Antoine for putting up with me through it all.

    I absolutely refuse to believe that anyone would have to “put up with” someone as obviously nice as you. C’est impossible!

    Alice, I am often a big ball of stress and take it out on those closest to me. It is one of my most shameful flaws and one I’m working to fix, but it’s definitely there. I hope you never get to witness it!
